A brief introduction to Ryan Bass

Ryan Bass is a television broadcaster whose take on the latest in sports keeps audiences in Tampa and Central Florida glued to their screens. Reporting from the center of the action, he expressed his passion for sports using various creative outlets before taking on his current role as a sports journalist for the Bright House Sports Network.

What do you do for a living?

I am a sports anchor, reporter, and play-by-play broadcaster working for Bright House Sports Network, a 24-hour sports network in Tampa and Central Florida.

What’s your daily routine like?

It changes based on the news of the day, but I usually am either hosting a show in-studio or on the ground for a game.

Which devices do you use at work and which apps do you use the most?

I'm always on my phone, especially Twitter. That's where news is broken these days.
