The story starts on a remote beach in Mexico, when our founder Sunil Patro needed to sign an important job offer letter during his vacation. To his dismay, he did not have an easy way to complete the task using his smartphone. And so, he decided to be the architect of his own solution by building a mobile app to sign and send documents on the go. Today, that app is known as Signeasy.
With a background in engineering and product development, Sunil wanted to address the struggles and inconveniences faced by individuals and businesses stuck in the print-fax-scan paperwork processing routine. He built a team with the vision of creating an easy-to-use but robust solution for signing and sending documents from anywhere, to anyone, on any device.
When it went live on the App Store in 2010, Signeasy was the first-ever document signing app built for mobile, helping users in a new era of convenience and making electronic signatures ubiquitous across web and mobile. As new devices like iPad and new software like Android came to market, the company was among the first to support them. Signeasy continues to be at the forefront of innovation in the electronic signature space, riding the wave of our fast-moving SaaS-powered digital landscape.
Signeasy is proud to be headquartered in Dallas, USA with a large engineering and product design office in Bangalore, India, and a handful of remote teams in the USA, Canada, Mexico.
